Two Chemical Engineering students from the Vellore Institute of Technology, Mithun Balraj and Sham Kumar, will be working on sustainable and easy-to-use solutions for purifying well water in the tribal villages. During the first week of August and along with Seb’s staff, they conducted the first assessment visit and water quality tests in Thandayankottai. Unsafe water cause many health problems, including diarrhea, fever, parasitic infections, which can cause seizures and brain cysts.
The next health camp is planned for the first weekend in August and will cover the villages of Thattankuttai and Marudalemedu. If you would like to donate to this wonderful projects or any of our other projects, please click here.
